Account & Profile

How do I create an account?
Creating an account is easy! Simply click on the “Get Started” button and provide your email address. We don’t require passwords, so you’ll receive a secure link to your email to get on board. Once you’re in, you can customize your profile and start posting right away. Be sure to using the same email address to log in each time, unless you want a new account.
How do I change my password/email address?
We don’t use passwords, so you don’t have to worry about remembering them. We also keep everything secure and private, so we can’t change by request. You may need to delete your account and create a new one with a different email address.
How do I delete my account?
We’re sorry to see you go! If you want to delete your account, you can do so by going to your profile settings and selecting the “Delete Account” option. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers, so be sure you want to do this before proceeding, as we can’t recover your data once it’s gone.
Can I have multiple accounts?
Yes, you can have multiple accounts with different email addresses. Just be sure to use the correct email address to log in each time, as we can’t merge accounts or transfer data between them. We won’t judge, as long as you stay within our terms of service, you’re free to create as many accounts as you like.
How can I customize my profile?
Right now there is not much way to customize your profile, but we’re working on adding more features to make your profile more unique. You can change your profile picture and title, and we’ll be adding more options soon. Stay tuned for updates!

Posting & Content

How do I create a new post?
This is a diary and journal platform, so the functionality follows that. After singing in, you’ll be taken to your diary page, with the current date selected. You can start typing your thoughts, feelings and the details of this day’s adventures, or, actually anything else you want to record. You can also add image that summarise the day, and we’re always looking to improve and we’ll be adding more features soon. Once you’re done, the page will save automatically, just make sure you’re stay on the page until it’s done.
What types of content can I post?
You can post anything you want, as long as it follows our terms of service. We’re a diary and journal platform, so we encourage you to record your thoughts, feelings and experiences, but you can also post other types of content, like an image, and we’re always looking to improve and we’ll be adding more features soon.
Can I edit or delete my posts?
Yes, you can edit your posts at any time, just go to your diary page and select the date. Deleting a record for a date is currently not supported, but we’re working on adding more features. Stay tuned for updates!
How do I make my posts private or public?
Right now all posts are public by default, but every profile ID is unique, so it’s hard (or impossible) to find your posts unless you share the link with someone. At the top of your diary page, you can see a button for changing the default visibility of that day, you can change however you wish. Alternatively, you can change your whole profile to private, so no one can see anything you record, it’s all yours.
Can I share my posts on social media?
Yes, you can share your posts on social media, just copy the link to your post or profile and paste it wherever you want. You might want to consider where you want to post it, but by fact, go for it!

Privacy & Security

Is my data secure? How do you protect my information?
We take your privacy and security seriously, and we use the latest technologies to keep your data safe. We encrypt all data and no one can read it without your permission. We also use secure servers and follow best practices for data protection, so you can trust us to keep your information safe. We don’t use your email address for spamming, only to keep your account intact. By the nature of the platform, we recommend you to not share any sensitive or personally identifiable information, unless you’re trully comfortable with it.
Who can see my posts?
In default, anyone who can guess the link, or you share the link with, can see your posts. You can change the visibility of your posts at any time, and you can also make your whole profile private, so it’s up to you who can see them.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
If you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers, so it’s gone forever. This includes all your posts, responds to other member’s log, claps, and other information, media and uploads, so be sure you want to do this before proceeding. If you want to keep your data, you can make your profile private instead, so only you can see it. We can’t recover your data once it’s deleted, so be sure you want to do this before proceeding.
Do you use cookies?
We do use cookies to keep you logged in, but we don’t use them for tracking or advertising. We respect your privacy and only use cookies for essential functions, so you can trust us to keep your information safe.

Can I follow other users?

Is there a search function to find posts?
By the nature of the platform, we don’t have a search function, as we let our members decide who can see their posts. You can share the link to your post or profile with others, so they can find it.
Are there any restrictions on the length of posts?
There is a sensible limit on the length of posts, and introducion texts, to keep the platform usable and enjoyable for everyone. If you think something is broken, doesn’t work well, a feature is missing, or you have a suggestion for improvement, please let us know.

Troubleshooting

I forgot my email, what do I do?
If you forgot which email address you used to create your account, you can try logging in with different email addresses until you find the right one. However this will create new accounts, so be sure to delete them if you don’t need them. As we don’t store your email address in readable format, we can’t help you recover it, so be sure not to forget it.
Why can’t I see my post after publishing it?
If you can’t see your post after writing it, it might be because the save process was still in progress, when you left the page, or otherwise interrupted. It might be a bug or other issue. If the issue persists, please reach out to our customer support for help.
I’m having a trouble with something else, what do I do?
It depends on the issue, we cannot give you a hand to fix pipes, neither we can help you with your homework, nor with your relationship, which due to the nature of this site, might be a risk to anyone at any time. If you see something goes wrong with the site, on the other hand, we’re more than happy to look after it. Please reach out to our customer support for help. We also greatly appreciate any feedback you have, so we can improve the platform for everyone.

Is this service free? Are there any paid features?
Yes, this service is free to use, and there are no paid features at this time. This might change in the future, but our current goal is to keep the platform free, enjoyable and accessible to everyone. If you have any suggestions for any features, please let us know.
